Day 7

September 3

Today I got my ECHO by Amit Pantage because no one did it yesterday. My mom and Amit work together so he made sure he was extra careful with me. My mom seems to be crazy or something, I keep hearing people say that. I'm doing well according to the Cardiologist and Neonatolgist team. We were told that I would be having surgery on Tuesday the 7th and my parents will have a meeting with the surgeon, Dr. Delius today at 4:30pm. My Meema and Nana Joan went to the meeting my parents. Dr.Delius told them that he would cut of the Coarc and put it together and then slice the Aorta in half and put in patches. This will make it larger so blood flow can get through and it should grow with me as I grow. Dr.Delius answered all the questions they had and now they had to mentally prepare themselves for my big day. Also, my mommy's birthday is tomorrow and my daddy is planning something special..shhhhh P.S. My daddy went home last night and spent the night with my sister and brother because he saw that I was doing well and felt ok to leave. moving on to Day 8.....
